Inspired by presentations at the 2015 MassCUE conference, I planned, developed, and organized a new student tech team at Holliston High School (we call it the PIT Crew – PIT stands for Panthers Instructional Technology). Since creating, training, and leading the pilot team in spring 2016, I have in charge of  daily supervision of the PIT Crew.

The students meeting during their study period, and perform a number of valuable tech support tasks, such as:

• Printer troubleshooting and toner replacement
• PC and laptop troubleshooting
• Chromebook repair, including replacing screens, keyboards, batteries, system boards
• Student and teacher support
• Maintenance and training in the Maker Space

In addition, I also developed a customized web app to serve as a ticketing system for the PIT Crew. This app uses the power of Google Forms, Google Sheets, and customized Google Apps Script (JavaScript).
